Professor Joseph Camilleri OAM is Emeritus Professor, La Trobe University and Managing Director of Alexandria Agenda. He is Convener of Conversation at the Crossroads (https://crossroadsconversation.com.au/), a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Social Sciences, and he was founding Director of the Centre for Dialogue, La Trobe University. He is the author or editor of some thirty books and more than 100 book chapters and journal articles. He is the recipient of the Order of Australia Medal. In recent years he has convened some twenty national and international dialogues and conferences, lecturing and working with many organisations in Australia and overseas around issues of governance, cultural diversity, education, dialogue, peace and security, and human rights. He is therefore eminently qualified to address us this evening on the subject of Religious Persecution.
