Join us at a free Elder Abuse Awareness Forum 
Throughout our lives, we should all be respected, our experience embraced and our rights upheld.
Join us to hear Dr Catherine Barrett share her insights on the intersection of ageism and gender inequity,
her many projects celebrating ageing and to consider how we can work together to foster respect so that everyone can know their rights and live their best life!
Also speaking at the event will be representatives from Maroondah City Council, Women’s Health East and Eastern Community Legal Centre.
As part of the event there will be a performance by the No Excuses Choir, led by Dr Kathleen McGuire – a choir formed to address violence against women through song.
Morning tea and lunch are provided.
The event is a partnership between Maroondah City Council, Women’s Health East and Eastern Community Legal Centre.
